ABOUT THIS PIECE

With my art, I feel like maybe some of the boundaries I had created prior to the creation of this piece were artificial and deserved to be knocked down. The combinado of figurative and abstract is better together. The combinado of English and Spanish is more me than just the monolingüe. The mezcla of dance and drawing is super compelling to me.

This piece was the first experiments with mixing the figurative with an abstract background, and part of the early works in the “Expansion Series“
